"Anne has a lyrical gift of bringing us into a magical multi-dimensional, gardened universe.

Her work has a timeless impact. It is the story of life, the existence of the internal and the external universe, nature, perception, relationships, time, simultaneity, space, physicality, mystery, joy, etc.; and how all of this, and more, work flawlessly together.

Anne Hughes takes us on a visual tour pulling us in and out of complex connections. Her work is outer worldly, conceptually brilliant, and much more about experiencing than explaining."

Wolfgang Krol: retired professor of art, Concordia University, Montréal, Québec.
